WHO IS A CAMPUS LIAISON?
Campus Liaisons Recruit and Hire Peer Mentors. The liaison identifies students with the academic and leadership skills to be a Mentor. Assist in the recruitment of CREAR Mentees and support engagement.

lIAISON TASKS FOR SUCCESS

Distribute and advertise information about the program to the Latinx student body to ensure that students are aware of and express interest in participating.

Pair Peer Mentors with students that can most benefit the program.

Pay close attention to potential mentee needs regarding social services, tutoring, financial aid, and/or other supports.

Attend Monthly Mentor Meetings hosted by Hispanic Federation.

Share practices, policy, procedures, and data (student academic progress and levels of satisfaction) with the Education program staff.

Work towards intended outcomes: Increase retention and graduation rates by 40%; Increase GPA by .5 points; increase course completion rates by 25%; Increase transfer rates by 15% for participants compared to non-participants.
